DSF is dedicated to helping young people reach their fullest potential by exposing them to experiences that develop their critical skills and competencies. This includes those who are destined for higher education and those who are not university bound.

DSF believes that social entrepreneurship training provides an opportunity for young people to develop valuable skills to become active and responsible citizens. MitiMeth is a social enterprise that teaches people in riverine communities to take the water hyacinth, an aquatic weed that invades their waterways and turn it into beautiful eco-friendly handicrafts.

During an intensive 10 -day training our young artisans will be learning the entire creative process as well as valuable business skills in how to market their creations.
